Shavuot Celebration, May 31

May 31, 4-8PM

In celebration of Shavuot, Congregation Beth Evergreen invites you to join in a community gathering for storytelling, text study, tai chi and meditation from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 31. We’ll share an informal meal together and conclude the evening with a  thoughtful  Shavuot/ havdalah service with Rabbi Jamie Arnold. Shavuot is the Jewish festival marking the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai, and is traditionally a time to study and learn together as a community. This free event is co-sponsored by the Spiritual Life and Adult Education committees. Watch for more details about the workshop offerings in the weeks ahead.
