Hungry? Craving new friends, new gastronomic delights and a whole lot of fun? Well, then you’ve come to the right place!

CBE’s new Food & Cooking Chavura, “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?” is starting the new year off with just what your creativity, spatulas and tastebuds have been looking for – alternating Friday night dinners and Sunday afternoon cooking classes.

Our inaugural Friday Night Dinner will be held on Friday, January 13th,2023. While theme and location are still to be determined, what we do know is the dinners will be open to all, theme/cuisine of each dinner will change and there will be no cap on the number of attendees.

The Friday Night Dinners will be held bi-monthly on the second Friday night of the month, beginning with January 13th and continuing with March 10th, May 12th, July 14th, September 8th and November 11th (all dates are subject to change pending weather or other unpredictable events).

The bi-monthly Cooking Classes will be held at 1:00 PM on Sundays February 12th, March 26th, June 11th, August 13th, October 15th and December 10th.  Months when there is an upcoming holiday, we may choose to dedicate the class to foods for that holiday (February/Purim; April/Pesach; June/Shavuot; December/Chanukah) – other months may be ethnic foods, common foods across cultures, or any other suggestions you may have.  Unfortunately, Cooking Classes will be limited to 15 participants.  Sorry, but no children at the Dinners or the Classes.
