American Day of Atonement
Monday, January 10, 2022 • 8 Shevat 5782
7:00 PM - 8:30 PMModeled after the Jewish Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur, we hope to make January 10th a day of civic learning by engaging our communities in mindful reflection, dialogue, music, readings, and prayerfulness. This year’s theme will focus on the complex facets of racial injustice in the United States and how to make reparations for these injustices.
Join us for an hour of opening our hearts and our minds from a lineup of community leaders in a multifaith and secular space, followed by time for the audience to ask questions, share their experiences, and engage one another in conversation.
