This year, CBE's got the best game in town! Join us on Saturday, April 22, at 6:30PM for a pub style trivia night consisting of multiple rounds of trivia and teams competing to get the most correct answers. Team up with some friends or fly solo - either way, you're sure to have a great time. Teams can gather sponsors to participate in the Triviathon (where a sponsor pledges a donation for every correct answer). Plus, we'll have great food, lots of drinks, and even childcare available on site!
The price of the ticket includes the trivia game, two drink tickets, a raffle ticket, and snacks to stuff you silly. You can purchase additional drink and raffle tickets when you register.
This is our annual fundraiser, and we're raising money to support our programming, our building, our rabbi, and more. This is a way to keep up with increasing costs without increasing membership dues.
Can't come? Please consider a tax-deductible donation to help support Beth Evergreen! You can do this at the same place as the registration for the event. You can also buy raffle tickets if you're not going to attend - you don't need to be present to win.

Trivia night isn't a solo endeavor - it's always more fun in teams! We've all got those friends who are knowledgeable about some weirdly specific area, and when you pull everyone together, you're a force to be reckoned with. Call up people here in the synagogue - your havurah, your mussar group, your kid's b'nei mitzvah class - or spread out into the community to your book club, your workplace, your MOPS group, or your bridge club. Be creative - everyone is welcome!
Get this - not only do you get to have a rollicking good time with your buddies, but you can get some sweet prizes for doing so! And no need to worry about kissing up to the rabbi - the folks running the trivia will be the judges.
Are you a quick thinker? Can you dream up a really amazing name for your trivia team? There's a prize for that. Get inspired by team names from this year's Geek Bowl XI!
Every great team deserves a great costume, and we'll be giving a prize for the best group.
Already got a solid posse that can nail this trivia thing? Gather them all up and register them all together to take the uncertainty out of forming a team!
Got a few friends, but not enough for a team? Or do you know all the right folks but don't want to handle the money en masse? No problem! Sign yourself up as a team captain and submit a name for your team. Once your registration is complete, people will be able to select your team from the list when they register until it is full.
Don't have time to make plans with other friends? No problem! Sign up for yourself, and we'll put you on a team - either a preregistered team that needs a couple more, or a brand new team formed from all the big personalities who are similarly flying solo.
Drum It Up
Up for doing a bit more hustle? Gather sponsors to earn even more prizes! Sponsors can be as ambitious as a local business or as easy to contact as your Aunt Peggy. Sponsors can donate like a "trivia-thon" - pledge a certain amount per question answered correctly - or they can offer a flat donation.
Prizes will be given for:
- Individual that raises the most
- Team that raises the most
- Team that has the highest participation
So you're a veritable trivia BEAST. So what? Well, besides having a good time and the satisfaction of knowing you're RIGHT, you'll get raffle tickets for each round you win!
Not so much of a trivia nerd? No worries! Everyone gets one ticket just for signing up, and then you can purchase additional raffle tickets for $5.
However you acquire your tickets, you'll then use them for fabulous prizes! Put your tickets in the jars next to the prize you want - you can put them all in one jar, or spread them out across various goodies. We'll draw the winner at the end of the night.
Included with your ticket price are two drink tickets! You may also purchase additional drink tickets for $5 apiece. We'll have a stocked bar of beer, wine, and other goodies, including non-alcoholic options.
We know that finding someone who can take the kids can be the hardest part about going out. We're taking the guesswork out of that decision and offering 3 hours of childcare for $20/kid. Just sign the munchkins up when you register yourself!
What's an event without food? Steve Tarasar's helping us pull together some awesome snackadoos to keep you fueled throughout an intense night of trivia. Desserts, wings, pizza, chips & dip - you got it!
